Hello! My name is Bianca and I am the owner and photographer of Bianca Myers Photography. I was born and raised in Southern Arizona. Photography has always been a passion for me since I was a little girl. Every year, during my town’s annual county fair, I would enter pictures I’ve taken throughout the year hoping to win the Grand Prize Blue Ribbon. It was a goal I always strived to achieve until I finally accomplished my goal in 2007. Little did I know that this was the beginning of my career as a Photographer. I started building my portfolio shortly after when friends and family would ask me to take their pictures. I was excited to get anything and anyone in front of my lens. Back then I started shooting with my first camera, a cannon rebel with a pop up flash.
In 2008, one of my good friends had asked me to take her daughter’s newborn pictures. Nervous and excited, I was up for the challenge. Together we brainstormed ideas and took what I thought was the best pictures ever! But I knew there was soo much I needed to learn. When my twins were born in 2009, I hired a local photographer, who was also starting her business, to photograph my twins. I realized she didn’t have the experience either to handle newborns. From then I took photography seriously and took many many classes to not only learn newborn safety but also learn how to take pictures and work my camera.
Fast forward 13 years later and I now have a full time running photography business. Newborns are still a passion of mine and love to get creative by thinking outside of the box. Every year I strive to learn more and take advantage of the WPPI every year in Vegas. Learning from the top best photographers in the world. I now shoot with a Cannon Mark IV and photograph everything from babies to seniors to families and everything in-between. When I am not taking pictures you can find me spending quality time with my husband and two beautiful children. I work full time as a contractor but also work full time as a photographer. Every year I set a goal for my business and throughout the year strive to reach that goal, which brings me back to where it all started.
What I shoot with?: Canon Mark IV (I have a Mark II as my back up camera).
My fave piece of gear?: my 70-200 lens. Its my go to lens for outdoor sessions and I LOVE the brokah it gives.
Favorite Ice cream?: Vanilla... why because you can add any toppings to vanilla and have it different every single time.
